Is 24x36 the right size?
At 24x36 (60 × 90 cm) a canvas stops being an accent and becomes the focal point of a wall. This is the size we recommend above a sofa, a bed, or a fireplace, where a smaller print would look stranded in the middle of too much empty wall.
The general rule for above-furniture placement is that artwork should span roughly two-thirds of the furniture below it. A 24x36 works well over a loveseat or a queen bed; over a full-length sectional you may want to step up to 36x48 or hang a pair side by side.
