Choosing which wedding photo to print
Wedding galleries are overwhelming precisely because they are complete. The images that work best on canvas are rarely the formal group shots — they are the ones with a single clear subject and some breathing room around it: the first look, a candid during the speeches, the two of you leaving.
Canvas is a matte surface, which is an advantage here. Wedding photography tends to be high-contrast with bright whites in the dress, and a glossy print will throw glare across exactly that area under ceiling lights. A matte canvas holds the detail in the fabric instead.
If your photographer supplied both edited JPEGs and RAW files, send the edited JPEG. It reflects the colour grading you paid for, and our printer profiles handle it without further adjustment.

What to know before ordering
- Ask for full-resolution files
- Photographers often deliver a web-sized gallery by default. Request the full-resolution export before ordering anything above 16x20.
- Watch the crop on the wrap
- Gallery wrap pulls about 1.5 inches of image around the frame edge. If a detail sits close to the edge of the frame, choose the framed option instead.
- Order the set together
- Colour matching is most consistent when multiple canvases are printed in the same run, which matters if you are hanging a series.
Frequently asked questions
How long after the wedding can I still order?
There is no time limit. We print from whatever digital file you have, and archival UVgel ink means a canvas ordered ten years later will look identical to one ordered the week after.
Can I print a photo taken by a guest on a phone?
Often yes. Recent phone cameras produce files large enough for a 16x20. Upload it and we will flag it before printing if the resolution is too low.
Do you offer multi-panel wedding canvases?
We print single-panel canvases in standard and custom sizes. For a multi-panel look, many customers order two or three separate canvases and hang them as a set.
What if the colours do not match my screen?
