Ordering a canvas as a gift

The main thing to get right when ordering a canvas as a gift is timing. From order to doorstep is typically 5 to 10 business days — about one to two weeks — because every canvas is made to order rather than pulled off a shelf. Order two to three weeks ahead of the date you need it and there is comfortable margin.

Choosing the photo is the harder part. Images that work as gifts are usually ones the recipient has not seen enlarged — a candid rather than a posed portrait, or a photo of a place that matters to them rather than a picture of them.
